1. About Our Services
The Student Wellness Program provides free, confidential wellness support to college and university students in the Greater Boston area. Our services include virtual and in-person sessions with licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs/MSWs), delivered in partnership with TeleHealth Van and funded by the Ruderman Family Foundation.
Our sessions provide supportive wellness counseling, resource guidance, and short-term support. This is not long-term clinical therapy, psychiatric treatment, or a substitute for emergency mental health services.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available to:
- Currently enrolled college or university students in the Greater Boston area
- Individuals 18 years of age or older (or with appropriate parental/guardian consent)
3. Use of the Website
When using this website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when submitting forms or scheduling sessions
- Use the website for its intended purpose of accessing wellness resources and scheduling sessions
- Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems
- Not use the website for any unlawful purpose
4. Session Policies
Scheduling and Cancellations
Sessions are scheduled through our Calendly integration. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to book future sessions.
Confidentiality
All sessions are confidential. However, counselors are mandated reporters and may be required by law to disclose information in cases involving imminent danger to yourself or others, suspected abuse of a minor or vulnerable person, or as required by court order.
Emergency Situations
Our services are not designed for crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), go to your nearest emergency room, or call 911.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of the Student Wellness Program, TeleHealth Van, or their respective partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without written permission.
6. Third-Party Services
Our website integrates with third-party services that have their own terms:
- Calendly — for scheduling sessions
- Google Maps — for displaying our location
- Vercel — for website hosting
We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services. Please review their respective terms and privacy policies.
